Schedule and Design:
Our schedule features a Sunday mid-afternoon arrival, with classes running through Wednesday at 3 PM. We start each day as a whole group, with interactive keynote presentations of interest to everyone. Then we meet in grade level or job-alike groups, each one facilitated by a master teacher or national author, where we apply the morning's ideas to our own students and situations. After lunch, we choose from a wide assortment of practical workshops, where everyone can join actively in demonstrations, discuss issues among peers, and plan specific applications to take back home. Our basic meeting schedule of 8:30 AM–3:00 PM leaves plenty of time for extra team meetings, independent reading and writing, socializing, sightseeing, and enjoying the attractions of the Lake Geneva area. Each day also offers late afternoon and evening bonus sessions, with more speakers, workshops, book club discussions, and special presentations for those who want to learn from sun up to sun down!
