Below is a summary of the different credit options available for Walloon Institute partnered with Heinemann Workshops.

• We strongly recommend checking with your school district to ensure that the credit from your chosen university will be accepted before you enroll. Students intending to transfer credit to another university are also advised to obtain approval from their advisor or the registrar before enrolling. Not all grad credit options are able to be transferred to degree programs.
• Enrolling for graduate credit ALWAYS requires a registration directly through the university in addition to registration with Walloon Institute.
• Fees for graduate credit must be paid separately to the university and must not be included with payment that is made payable to Heinemann Workshops.

CEU Credit
Heinemann Workshops is an approved provider member of IACET. Included in the cost of your tuition you will receive a certificate of attendance for 1.5 CEU credits (equivalent to 18 class participation hours). The certificate will be issued during our graduation on the last day.

Graduate Credit
Walloon Institute, partnered with Heinemann Workshops, qualifies for 1, 2, or 3 Graduate Elective Semester Credits through:

• Chapman University
  Heinemann Workshops and Chapman University's Department of Extended Education are pleased to offer an Independent Study Practicum. After satisfactory completion of Walloon Institute, you can enroll in an independent study practicum for 1-3 semester units of graduate elective credit. This will require a follow-up assignment and an additional fee. One credit = $62.00; Two credits = $124.00; Three credits $186.00. Registration forms will be included in your packet at the conference or you may use the online forms below.

  How to Enroll for the Chapman University Graduate Credit Practicum

  1. First, you must register for Walloon Institute. You will receive a written receipt from Heinemann. Please be sure to save it.
  2. Second, anytime until 30 days after Walloon Institute is complete, you may enroll with Chapman University using their online Enrollment Form or you may download a printable Enrollment Form and mail it in. (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. Click here to get Adobe Acrobat Reader for free!)

  Chapman will accept registrations by mail, phone, and fax. You must provide a copy of your registration confirmation email message OR a copy of your course completion certificate that will be given to you on the last day of Walloon Institute.

• Antioch Seattle University
  The fee for one credit* is $60.00 and for 2 is $95.00. They require an additional assignment. All the information you need will be provided in your registration packet.

  *Please note that Antioch University Seattle awards quarter, not semester credit.

Illinois CPDU's
Heinemann Workshops is an approved professional development provider in the State of Illinois. Our provider number is #102310. Illinois Certificate Renewal Provider Information. 20 Illinois CPDU's. There is no additional fee, however you will be required to retain an Evidence of Completion Form and an agenda for your records. You will need to fill out an evaluation form and hand it in at our credit table when you depart. All forms will be in included in your registration packet.

Chicago Public Schools

CPS Lane Credit
Walloon is awaiting approval for two hours of CPS lane credit; the processing fee will be $20. Please note they will only accept money orders. No cash or personal checks.
